- Earned a BSBA from Central Michigan University in 2004 with double major in Business Administration and Economics (Fire Up Chips!).
- Began banking career in August of 2004 and held various positions since.
- Credit Portfolio Manager – Developed extensive credit experience including but not limited to underwriting, loan structuring, credit monitoring, and in-depth financial analysis.
- Credit Officer and Credit Portfolio Manager Team Lead – Managed several underwriters/portfolio managers with emphasis on maintaining credit quality, making prudent loan/credit decisions, maintaining timely turnarounds, and building cohesiveness with the line of business to deliver on customer service and expectations.
- Commercial Lending – Dedicated to serving our local communities and building trusting relationships with individuals, families, and local businesses. I leverage my 20 years in banking to craft competitive and flexible financial packages to align with client needs while being nimble.

Personally
I grew up on the West Side of Grand Rapids and I’m forever grateful for all my experiences growing up in a blue-collar family in a tight-knit community. I take pride in speaking about my experiences growing up and being a proud alum of GRPS that has molded me into who I am today.
Over 15 years ago, I moved to the Lakeshore where I still live, actively participating in the community and being the best dad to my twin boys, Miles and Reid. We also have a dog, Steele, who's an extension of our family and protector of the house.
When I'm not busy with my boys, coaching, or watching their sports, I enjoy exercising and spending time with family and friends. You'll often find me at a friend's house watching Michigan games in the fall. I love all genres of music, though my boys say I'm stuck in the 80s, 90s, and Motown.
